these little wonders...

Post by: Beth
It's snowing a lot outside... I've never seen this much snow coming down at one time. There are so many flakes that you look out the windows and it just looks completely white outside.. It's not until you get up to the window that you can actually see the separation between the flakes. I took a photo at 10am to try to capture what was going on, and I'll take another one towards the end of the day to show the progression.

Here is the snow outside about 4:30pm today.

so what does a bama girl who has not a clue how to drive in these kind of conditions? I would just have to be a hermit! But I guess in a place where it snows more than once every 15 years, they probably have provisions for that, huh? Love that you are doing this... I check every morning and every evening to see if you have updated! Love yall Casey

Casey,

Thanks for your post. :) In response to your question about how I would drive in this, I literally didn't leave the apartment all day yesterday. Raja had to drive to work and back in it, and said it was pretty rough on the way back; it took him about 30 mins more than usual! The snow plows come out in full force and get the highways as clear as possible, but yesterday the snow plows got caught in the traffic jams along with everyone else!
So glad you check the blog.. it makes me feel like it's worth the work, as I'm sure you understand since you have your own. :) Love you!

I check the blog, too! I love seeing the pictures. It sounds like you guys are adjusting well. It's weird to not see you guys every few days...we had gotten kind of used to that. Keep the updates coming!

Hey wish I were there. But then you know I don't drive in rain or snow so I guess I'll stay put for a few more weeks.
It is pretty to look at though.
Love and miss you guys, Mom

I think we may have the same readers... although I do have Mandy who checks mine pretty often. I think that is my only non family member that checks, but I have known her for so long, she might as well be family also! Oh well as corey says it is a pretty self indulgent hobby anyway!!
